Our premises are based in Milton Keynes, a vibrant and growing area known for its excellent transport links, schools, and recreational facilities. This location is easily accessible and offers ample free parking. Our modern office provides a comfortable working environment and is conveniently close to local amenities.

Our Operations Division also operates from this base, travelling to various sites across the UK. Given the team-oriented nature of our work, our engineers often share vehicles, utilising the company’s fleet to ensure efficient and eco-friendly transport. This approach helps us minimise emissions and deliver materials and manpower to sites effectively.

As we provide services nationwide, our engineers sometimes stay away from home for periods ranging from 2 to 6 days, with all expenses covered. However, this is not a permanent arrangement. Working with us means being part of a community that values work-life balance and personal development, with the flexibility to meet the demands of projects across the country.

I have worked at MD Govier for 4 years and love it! I have been provided with various training courses, support and responsibilities which has helped me to grow within the company. I believe MD Govier are great employers because they value each individual and they look at ways at how they are able to support and motivate them to develop as a person as well as in their role. The personal growth of each of the employees is not only encouraged but it is recognised and celebrated. Since being at MD Govier, the company has really grown and we have such a great, friendly team where everyone supports each other!

I joined MD Govier in October 2024, making a big career change into Operations and Procurement. It was a completely new direction for me, and to be honest, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. But I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Right from the start, I felt welcomed and supported. The team is fantastic—everyone works together, and there’s a real sense of teamwork and respect. The business itself is really well-run and professional, but also down-to-earth and approachable. MD Govier really values both quality and its people. As an ISO 9001 certified company, there’s a clear commitment to delivering great work for clients, but just as importantly, they invest in us as employees too. You feel appreciated here, and that goes a long way. It’s also a fun place to work—we get along well, support each other, and enjoy spending time together outside of work too. I’m genuinely proud to be part of the team

I first started at MD Govier as an apprentice in 2013. Having completed my level 2 NVQ I was put in touch with Mark Govier via the college I attended. Fast forward 11 years and I am now a Project Manager, responsible for several projects at any one time and a team of great people.

Throughout my time at MD Govier I have felt supported at all times in terms of career progression through the different job roles I have had but also in terms of furthering my knowledge, I have been put through so many additional courses such as solar and EV charging to expand my knowledge in up and coming areas of the industry.

My favourite thing about working here is how well everyone works as a team and pulls together to get the job done.
