Since 2012, we have performed emergency lighting tests and upgrades across the site at 12th Street, Milton Keynes. As being an NICEIC approved company, you can rely on our team to install the correct emergency lighting in locations that meet the health and safety requirements. 12th street is a popular leisure district which is open to all ages, day and night, so it is important that all members of the public as well as the staff and maintenance teams are guided to a safe escape route by the emergency lighting.
The facilities team, as operating off-site, required a company to take care of this routine task to ensure that testing and reports did not get missed. By way of an online reporting system, we schedule the routine visits through the portal’s scheduling calendar and then these can be activated once that test is commencing, which communicates with the facilities team in real time. During the emergency light tests, we attend site and conduct the test to various commercial blocks which include restaurants, bars, escape rooms, and activity centres. This is logged with security and a report is filed that identifies any fittings that are not working correctly. In this instance, this would be uploaded on the portal and remedial action recommended. When this is approved, we can then return to site and complete remedial actions.
This has worked successfully since 2012 and we have never missed or delayed a monthly test!
