The MDG team had the pleasure in listening to our client’s needs and presented Blum UK with the most suitable charger for their company. Once they were happy with the product, we supplied all chosen chargers and accessories to support the product, all groundworks as well as the electrical installation. All paperwork and government grants were then completed by ourselves leaving the client stress free and in a position to use their newly installed chargers at their workplace. Convenient charging allows Blum UK employees and customers to conveniently charge their vehicles and the bonus being this is helping to reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
Before this project, Blum’s employees and visitors did not have anywhere to charge their electric vehicles on site. By supplying and installing four dual EV charger pedestals, this instantly gave them access to eight charging points, which made quite a big impact having been used to having none! To enable this, the car park grounds needed to be excavated from the main building directly across to the far side to the client’s preferred location of the chargers. This needed to be re-paved once the ducting and main power cabling had been positioned within the exposed grounds. We then installed a feeder cabinet complete with distribution board and main incomer and correct earthing equipment for the chargers. Lastly, we got to the chargers, installing these with barrier guards and setting the client up with RFID cards and a communication package.
This was made even easier for the client, as our admin department completed all government grant documentation and applied on behalf of the client to save them a great £2800!
